GREEK BANDS AND SONGS
- THRAX PUNKS : Is a musical group originating from Thrace, our region. Their music is a combination of traditional and punk style. They are famous in Greece and recently we had the chance to listen to them and they were great!
- PAVLOS PAVLIDIS: He is a Greek musician, lyricist and songwriter.He became known to the general public as a guitarist in the rock band Babies in Fire and later as a frontman and lyricist in Wooden Swords. He has had a solo career since 2004 and collaborated with B-Movies until 2020, when they disbanded. Today he collaborates with his new band, Hotel Alaska.
- NIGHTSTALKER: Nightstalker is a Greek rock band.In 2004 the Nightstalkers released Just a Burn by Mad Prophets Records with changes to the line-up, such as the entry of Andreas on bass (also bassist in Rotting Christ) and Tolis on guitar. The album, apart from Greece, was released in Europe and America
- VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY: Villagers of Ioannina City is a Greek band of experimental rock music from Ioannina, which was formed in 2007 and released its first album in 2014, entitled "Riza".
- ALEX SID: Alex lived for years in London, where he worked in a film studio and was in the field of sound and music. His songs had English lyrics and melody that is not common to the Greek public. In Greece, while working as a sound designer, he started writing music for the cinema. Since 2019 he writes and orchestrates musical themes and songs for a well known greek serie.
- VALLETA STR PROGECT: The Valletta Str Project started as a duo in 2012 making productions, collaborations and experimental gigs. In 2016, with enough material in their hands, they decide to become a full band. Their sound combines Indie Pop Electonica with Funk guitars! Their debut album entitled "Random Conclusion" (check review here) is released in vinyl format at selected record stores and Digital on all music platforms
- SKIADARESES: It is a musical group made after the first quarantine by the twin sisters Niki and Olga Skiadaresi. Their music, indie pop with folk elements, their lyrics, emotional but also bold at the same time, with immediacy, straightforwardness and humor, their exceptional performing skills and the fact that they are born performers are the elements that explain the great resonance of two DIY artists.Their tracks - all of which have emerged from their collaboration on music and lyrics - already have millions of views before their album is even released, which, as they said in an interview last summer, is being prepared.
- TZIMIS PANOUSIS: Dimitris Panousis was a Greek musician, songwriter, singer, satirical comedian, radio producer and actor. He was known for his satire and his caustic and athyrostomic verse.He is a rebelious artist and his reaistic lyrics are taken out of real life. He died on January 13, 2018 and it was a great loss for all greek people.
